#StripeStablecoinAccounts Stripe launches accounts in stablecoins in more than 100 countries

Hey everyone! Let's chat about what's happening in the crypto world. Stripe, the global payment giant, announced the launch of financial accounts based on stablecoins in more than 100 countries. This new feature allows companies to hold balances in dollar-backed stablecoins, such as USDC and USDB, receive payments through traditional and crypto channels, and send stablecoins globally.

This initiative is particularly relevant for businesses in countries with volatile currencies or limited banking infrastructure. With these accounts, it is possible to store value in stable dollars and conduct international transactions more easily and at a lower cost.

Additionally, Stripe plans to launch a Visa card linked to stablecoins, allowing users to spend their cryptocurrencies at any establishment that accepts Visa. This partnership with Bridge, acquired by Stripe in October 2024, aims to facilitate the conversion of stablecoins to local currencies during transactions.

With the growth of stablecoin usage and the search for more accessible financial solutions, Stripe positions itself as a bridge between the crypto world and the traditional financial system. This movement could further boost the adoption of cryptocurrencies in global commerce.
