Bank of China currently has two methods for applying for a card:

2: If you are in Hong Kong, go to a Bank of China Hong Kong branch and ask the account manager to help you open an account. Disadvantages: low approval rate, must be during working hours, there are many people waiting in line, high threshold, at least 20 transactions in the A-share market in the last three months, as well as address proof and other documents. The account manager is very shrewd and will directly refuse those who have bought stocks and kept them long-term. Bank of China account opening operation
Step 1: Open the Bank of China app, click to open an account, and select being in Hong Kong
Step 2: Agree to the terms to open an account, choose instant account opening
Step 3: Select 'I am not at the branch', submit the prepared entry and exit documents
Step 4: Be sure to allow location usage, prepare your ID card and travel permit for document scanning (it may fail, just try a few more times), then proceed to facial recognition.
Step 5: Fill in contact information, be sure to complete the address information, and fill in the account opening information. After completing the information, submit for review, and generally, the account will be opened immediately.
