Global digital asset industry leader Tether announced today that it has natively deployed its stablecoin USDT on the Kaia blockchain. LINE NEXT Inc. (a subsidiary of LINE focused on Web3 ecosystem development and expansion) will collaborate with Kaia (a high-performance Layer-1 blockchain designed to support the Mini Dapp and Dapp Portal ecosystems within LINE Messenger) to provide USD stablecoin services to mainstream consumers in Asia through the natively integrated USDT-Kaia system and LINE NEXT's blockchain service platform.
In this collaboration, USDT will fully support LINE's Mini Dapp platform and self-custody wallet infrastructure based on instant messaging. The core functions of LINE NEXT's USDT program include:
1. Users can earn USDT rewards by completing tasks in different Mini Dapps.
2. Users can easily send and receive USDT through the built-in wallet in LINE Messenger.
3. LINE NEXT is considering integrating USDT into more Mini Dapp functions.
