About Ethereum Pectra Update❗

Pectra, one of the most comprehensive updates to the #Ethereum network, was announced on May 7, 2025

Pectra, which is formed by the combination of Prague and Electra layers, aims to significantly improve the speed, security, decentralization and user experience of the network.

Stateless Clients (Verkle Tree): Decentralization is strengthened by allowing validators to work without the need for historical data.

Stake Limit Increase (EIP-7251): The maximum stake amount increases from 32 ETH to 2,048 ETH, facilitating large-scale staking transactions.

Account Abstraction (EIP-7702): Wallets are equipped with smart contract features, making them more flexible and user-friendly.

PeerDAS: Blob capacity is doubled, reducing the costs of Layer 2 solutions and increasing network efficiency.

After the Pectra update announcement, Ethereum (ETH) price broke the 1,900 USD level and gained strong upward momentum.
