Shorting STO is because I participated in the initial Binance wallet event, the STO received was far from enough, and later Binance officially replied that they would issue more.
They will issue according to the average price in the seven days after listing (0.06), I calculated simply, the number of STOs to be issued later should be around 3000. When the STO rose to 0.1, it was already much higher than 0.6. At this time, shorting the package could earn a lot and also lock in profits early, which was a good choice, decisively shorting 2500 STO.
I didn't expect that later STO would rise all the way, reaching the stop-loss line at 0.15, clearing the position was still okay, after all, if they issued more STO, I would just earn less, not count as a loss.
But then there was a twist, the Binance wallet team announced that they would issue U instead, I was really drunk, when the price of STO was low, they said they would issue more STO, and when it rose, they said they would issue U. The key point is that my hedging short position lost 125 U, and then Binance wallet issued 100 U.
A failed hedge, lost badly.
Practice proves that you should not trust anyone, the Binance wallet official is also unreliable. It's not about how much they issue, it's about the rules being changed arbitrarily, causing huge losses to users. Everyone should gain some experience, very speechless...
