In the past 3 days, I went long on $SXT twice in a row, and both times it failed, turning out to be a painful trading lesson.

The first entry was because I saw strong signs of a breakout in $SXT, and with the overall market sentiment being bullish, I judged that this might be a signal for a new wave of upward movement. However, I didn’t expect to encounter a pullback right after entering, leading to a stop-loss exit.

For the second time, I still had a positive outlook on its structure, thinking it was just a temporary consolidation, so I entered again to go long, but the result was the same, getting stopped out once again.

These two failures made me realize that relying solely on sentiment and trends to make trades is far from enough; risk control is more important than confidence. It also reminded me that adjustments in a bull market can be very fierce, and one should not be complacent.

Although I incurred losses, I also learned a valuable lesson. On the trading journey, every failure is an opportunity to gain experience.
