A Dangerous Conflict Between India and Pakistan is Growing

A serious situation is developing between India and Pakistan. On the night of May 6–7, 2025, India launched missile strikes on areas in Pakistan and Pakistan-controlled Kashmir. This military action, called Operation Sindoor, was in response to a Attack April 22 in Pahalgam, Indian Kashmir. That attack killed 26 people, mostly Hindu tourists. The group responsible, The Resistance Front, is linked to the Pakistani organization Lashkar-e-Taiba.

While tensions in other parts of the world like Ukraine and Israel are calming down, this new conflict is very worrying. It seems like world leaders have already made some decisions behind the scenes.
