$EOS How do I swap?

If your tokens are held by a centralized exchange, please verify with your exchange to confirm if they are handling the swap for you. The official Vaulta Swap Portal is the easiest and safest way to swap manually. Just connect your wallet and follow the guided process to exchange $EOS for $A.

Advanced users can also perform direct on-chain swaps by sending $EOS to the core.vaulta account. You will receive an equivalent amount of $A in return.

Do I need to swap immediately?

There is no necessary deadline, but we recommend swapping early to ensure full access to Vaulta's features in wallets, applications, and exchanges.

Is the swap bi-directional?

Yes. The first four months of swapping will be bi-directional. During this time, $EOS and $A can be swapped in either direction using the Vaulta Swap Portal. After four months, the portal will only support one-way swaps from $EOS to $A.

What happens if I don’t swap?

Your EOS will remain on-chain, but as the platform adopts the new token, utility and liquidity will increasingly shift to $A. While there is no deadline for completing the swap, we recommend doing it early to ensure uninterrupted access across applications, wallets, and exchanges. You will not lose access to your funds; after the initial transition period, the swap will remain available.

Will exchanges help handle it?

Most will. You can also consult your exchange for confirmation.

What if my tokens are currently staked?

Any $EOS tokens currently staked will remain staked and continue to earn rewards. Staked $A tokens will increase your total stake. When users unstake through the core.vaulta contract, all tokens will be unstaked as $A tokens.

Are there any fees?

No. The swap is 1:1 with no fees or slippage.

Does the Vaulta token introduce any new tokenomics?

No. The total supply, allocation, and vesting schedule of the $A token are the same as EOS. Only the ticker symbol and name are changing.

Is Vaulta a new blockchain?

No. This is the same Antelope core technology, updated under a new name and mission.

Vaulta operates on the same mainnet previously known as the EOS network. All historical data remains unchanged. The key difference is that the $A token will now become a native resource and governance token with all the attributes that EOS tokens previously had.

What will happen to the altcoins I hold?

Will not be affected by the Vaulta rebranding and token swap. All existing smart contracts previously deployed on the EOS mainnet, including token contracts, will still exist on Vaulta, as it is not a new mainnet or network. Therefore, all balances will remain unchanged from before, and no action is required from end users.

Do developers need to update anything?

Most contracts will run unchanged. Developers should update token identifiers to ensure the smooth operation of $A.

Are there security risks?

As with any token transition, scams may arise. Use only official links and platforms. If in doubt, use the Vaulta Swap Portal.

Have the new smart contracts been audited?

Yes, these contracts have passed extensive security audits from Certik and Sentnl.
