CoinVoice has recently learned that, according to Cointelegraph, Singapore-based digital asset infrastructure service provider Safeheron has launched an open-source Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) framework. This solution is developed based on Intel's SGX SDK and written in modern C++, aiming to enhance security and privacy protection in Web3 areas such as DeFi, payment services, and DAOs.
The framework allows clients to create secure isolated 'enclave' spaces through cloud services that support Intel SGX, preventing external attacks and even internal hardware threats. Currently, privacy blockchains such as Oasis Network and Secret Network have adopted similar technologies. Safeheron CEO Wade Wang stated that the decision to open-source stems from concerns that closed systems in the industry hinder innovation. [Original link]
