Bitcoin (BTC) is currently trading around $96,970 after a strong bounce from the support area at $92.9 thousand. It has just surpassed the key moving averages and is now facing resistance near $97.7 thousand, just shy of its recent high of $97,895.
A breakout above this level could open the door for a rise towards $98.5 thousand - $100 thousand.
However, a rejection at this level could lead to a short-term pullback towards the $94.5 thousand - $95.3 thousand area.
