In what year could BTC disappear?

Predicting the future of Bitcoin (BTC) is extremely difficult and any date of "disappearance" would be purely speculative. However, we can analyze some factors that could influence its longevity:

Factors that could contribute to the disappearance of Bitcoin:

Severe and irreparable security failures: If the Bitcoin network were to suffer a catastrophic cyber attack resulting in massive and irreversible loss of funds or corruption of the blockchain, trust in the cryptocurrency could collapse.

Prohibitive government regulations globally: If the governments of major economies in the world banned the use, possession, and trading of Bitcoin, its adoption and value would be severely affected.

Development of superior technology: A new cryptocurrency or digital payment system could emerge and offer significant advantages over Bitcoin in terms of scalability, speed, cost, security, or functionality, leading users to migrate and Bitcoin to become obsolete.

Loss of interest and adoption: If public interest in Bitcoin significantly decreased and its adoption by individuals and businesses stalled or reversed, demand and therefore its value could fall drastically.

Inherent design issues: Although it is considered robust, fundamental flaws in the design of Bitcoin could be discovered that would make it unviable in the long term.
