Ripple will stop publishing quarterly reports on XRP due to SEC pressure
CEO of Ripple Labs Brad Garlinghouse announced the cessation of quarterly reports regarding $XRP . The head of the firm referred to the fact that previously provided data was used against the company by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
The entrepreneur explained that the reports were initially initiated to enhance transparency. However, this step, according to him, did not yield the expected effect. The company emphasized that future reporting will be reformed.
As Garlinghouse stated, Ripple will continue to share information about XRP assets on its website. He emphasized that updates will be released through official online channels unrelated to quarterly results.
The management of the firm also noted that Ripple plans to provide more analytical data amid rising interest from institutional investors. The company intends to adapt information disclosure to the requests of major market participants.
