Bitpanda Hamburg Open: the crypto-exchange as the title sponsor of the ATP 500 tennis tournament

Bitpanda has announced that it is already active in its role as title sponsor for the upcoming ATP 500 tennis tournament in Hamburg, from May 17 to 24 at Rothenbaum. . In honor of the partnership, the Hamburg Open event has been officially nicknamed Bitpanda Hamburg Open.

“Big news. Big stage. Even bigger ambitions. Welcome to Bitpanda @hamburgopenatp. We are the official title sponsor. A new era begins, with the same ambition: shaping the future. Together. As part of our @atptour – we are strengthening our commitment to innovation and excellence in sport.”

The current ATP 500 that will start on May 17, 2025, will bring world-class tennis to Hamburg, with the participation of world stars like the number one Jannik Sinner and 13 other players from the current Top 30 ATP.

To announce the title sponsorship, Bitpanda took an unconventional approach: on the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, the brand projected its new Bitpanda Hamburg Open logo onto the buildings of the city.

The timing was not coincidental, but rather, it coincided with the OMR Festival, one of the largest European conferences on digital marketing and technology.

Bitpanda Hamburg Open: the crypto-exchange in the world of tennis

This Bitpanda Hamburg Open is the first result of a multi-year partnership that the leading European crypto platform has established with the ATP Tour.

In fact, last April, the news emerged that Bitpanda had become Official Partner of the international tennis circuit.

Founded in 1990, the ATP Tour is the only high-level men’s tennis world tour organized by the Association of Tennis Professionals.

Therefore, starting from 2025, Bitpanda is the official partner of some of the most prestigious tournaments, such as the ATP 500 in Hamburg.

In this regard, the co-founder and CEO of Bitpanda, Eric Demuth, commented:

“I remember this tournament from when I was a kid hunting for autographs from my idols. I am happy that this fantastic ATP 500 event still takes place here in Hamburg. It is a tournament that attracts the best international stars and represents a true moment of glory just one week before the Roland Garros. This speaks volumes about the city and this unique venue, which holds many beautiful memories for me.”

Other events will then be ATP 500 and ATP 250 in Munich, Basel, Halle, Stuttgart, Kitzbühel, Mallorca, and Geneva.

“`html The latest partnerships in football “`
