#MEMEAct The US Senate Against Personal Crypto of Politicians

Senator Chris Murphy has introduced the MEME Act, a proposed law that would prohibit presidents, members of Congress, and senior federal officials from issuing or promoting cryptocurrencies from which they could profit personally.

The move is a direct response to the launch of the $TRUMP token by the former president, which generated over 100 million dollars in fees. The token has been used to offer access to exclusive events, raising concerns about potential conflicts of interest and external influences.

Murphy called the initiative "the most corrupt act ever committed by a president," emphasizing the need to protect the integrity of public institutions.
