According to Etherscan data, between 13:00 and 14:00 today, #Ethereum gas fees surged from below 1 gwei to 18 gwei. This sudden increase is thought to be due to the airdrop distribution by Binance Wallet.
The Binance Wallet contract spent 46.71 $ETH (~85,900 dollars) on gas fees in the last three hours, becoming the contract with the highest gas consumption on the Ethereum network during this period.
