In an article published this morning on Cointribune, we relayed information indicating that BNP Paribas had partnered with Pi Network to facilitate SEPA transfers in cryptocurrency. After thorough checks, this information turned out to be false.
A misleading source
The article was based on a technical source presented as credible, mentioning the supposed integration of BNP Paribas into the Pi Network ecosystem. However, no official communication nor tangible proof confirmed this collaboration.
The technical module highlighted in a GitHub repository available here is actually just an independent file not validated by BNP Paribas, and cannot be considered proof of partnership.
