๐โกKalshi has announced on platform X that the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) "withdrew its appeal against the cryptocurrency prediction platform". Last year, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) sought to prevent Kalshi from offering prediction markets related to the elections in November.

A federal judge previously ruled that the Commodity Futures Trading Commission "exceeded its authority" in preventing Kalshi from allowing users to trade contracts. CFTC Commissioner Summer K. Mersinger also stated in February: "Election contracts are here to stay". Kalshi said: "Election markets are here to stay".
