The April 30 audit shows a clear surplus of assets compared to customer deposits. For example, users currently hold 9,751.17 BTC on the platform, while KuCoin’s total BTC reserves stand at 10,306.78—meaning the platform has an extra 555 BTC on hand. Ethereum follows a similar trend, with user holdings at 145,807.40 ETH and total reserves at 168,779.13 ETH—reflecting a healthy 116% reserve ratio.

Stablecoin reserves are equally strong. USDT is backed at 114% with $1.34 billion in assets against $1.18 billion in user balances, and USDC stands at 109% with $93.42 million in reserves versus $85.71 million in customer assets. In practical terms, KuCoin claims it could handle a full user withdrawal scenario and still retain surplus assets.
