Space and Time is a decentralized data platform that indexes blockchain data and makes it accessible to smart contracts in a secure and scalable way using Zero-Knowledge (ZK) technology. It bridges the gap between blockchain and external data sources, allowing developers to build more intelligent, real-time applications.

Imagine you have an app that uses both offchain data (like user activity or sales) and onchain data (from Ethereum, Bitcoin, or Polygon). Normally, combining these two securely and efficiently is very difficult. Space and Time solves this problem.

🔹 How does it work?

SXT indexes data from major chains like Ethereum, Bitcoin, ZKsync, Polygon, Sui, and Avalanche. Developers can query this data using SQL, a language they already know, which simplifies the process.

But what really sets it apart is the Proof of SQL engine: the results of your query aren’t just sent to the smart contract, they’re also cryptographically verified using ZK proofs. This means the smart contract can trust the result, and it can be delivered within the next block.

🔹 Why is this important?

Thanks to this system, smart contracts can now respond not only to onchain events, but also to external data. This opens the door to highly sophisticated and automated dApps that can take action based on historical behavior, real-time events, or even cross-chain activity, securely and without trust assumptions.
