EU Cracks Down on Crypto Privacy!

The European Union has officially adopted the Anti-Money Laundering Regulation (AMLR) to tighten oversight on the crypto industry.

Here’s what’s changing:

Anonymous wallets and privacy coins like Monero, Zcash, and Dash will be banned.

Starting in 2027, all crypto transactions over €1,000 will require identity verification.

A new AML authority will be set up to supervise major platforms directly.

What’s your take?

Should governments have the right to restrict private digital transactions?

Or is this a necessary move to protect users and stop criminal abuse?
