Reviewing the stages of the recent secondary altcoin explosion
Stage One
Bitcoin rose by about 90% from December 2022 to March 2023.
December 2022, which is the time of my pinned content, was the early stage of the bull market, the first hot season. Hot coins led by OP, SSV, and LDO experienced a surge of about 5 times.
Stage Two
Bitcoin rose by 192% from September 2023 to January 2024. In this phase, secondary altcoins performed the wildest. Altcoins represented by SEI, WLD, OM, and IMX surged over ten times.
Stage Three
Bitcoin rose by 110% from September 2024 to January 2025. Altcoins represented by SUI and NEIRO surged over five times, while most altcoins rose by 2 to 3 times.
From the above logic, it is not difficult to see that only when Bitcoin's increase is larger, the potential for the rise of hot altcoins is higher.
