“Ethereum Welcomes a Revolutionary Proposal! Vitalik Buterin Launches the Fusaka Fork, Set to Transform the Network!”
Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin has proposed a fork called “Fusaka,” aimed at significantly simplifying and scaling the Ethereum network. At the core of this proposal is the introduction of a new consensus model known as “3-slot finality,” which will replace the existing complex structure, thereby simplifying the codebase and enhancing network efficiency.
Buterin also suggested transitioning the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) to a RISC-V architecture, which can improve the efficiency of zero-knowledge proofs and support more programming languages, facilitating smart contract development. The Fusaka fork consists of two key phases—Fulu and Osaka—which will enhance data availability by introducing new features like EVM Object Format (EOF) and PeerDAS.
If implemented, Fusaka will become the most transformative upgrade in Ethereum's history, driving the network towards more efficient long-term development and broader developer support.
