May 6th Ethereum Key Price Level Analysis and Trading Suggestions
During the May Day holiday, the trading strategies we provided achieved an outstanding track record of zero stop-loss, thanks to the overall stable and fluctuating market conditions. However, caution is warranted as the current market environment has changed, and the possibility of a one-sided market is increasing. We remind all investors not to blindly chase highs and cut losses; it is essential to adhere to the principles of steady trading and timely profit-taking, prioritizing risk control and profit locking.
1. Key Price Level Analysis
1. Resistance Levels
- Short-term Resistance: 1860 - 1870 range. If the price touches this area without a valid breakthrough, a pullback may occur.
- Medium-term Resistance: 1915 - 1930 area. This range forms strong resistance to price increases; if broken, it will open up a new round of upward space.
2. Support Levels
- Short-term Support: 1755 - 1765 range. This is an important defense line during the price decline process; once broken, it may trigger further declines.
- Strong Support: 1700 - 1710 area. If the price touches this range, there is strong rebound momentum.
2. Trading Suggestions
1. Long Position Strategy: When the price stabilizes and forms a solid candlestick around 1695, consider entering a long position, with a stop-loss set below 1690, aiming for 1750 - 1760. If it breaks through, you may hold further.
2. Short Position Strategy: If the price rebounds to the 1835 - 1837 range and fails to stabilize, you may attempt to short on a very short time frame, with a stop-loss set above 1840, targeting 1800 - 1810. Note that there is a possibility of a breakout in this area, so quick entry and exit are advised, taking profits in a timely manner.
3. Position Management: If holding a long position and the price breaks through the 1835 - 1837 area, you may continue to hold and move the stop-loss to near the cost price to lock in profits; if the gains have reached expectations, it is advisable to first reclaim the principal, and continue to speculate with the remaining position.
Risk Warning: Market conditions change rapidly; the above analysis is for reference only. Please be sure to set strict stop-loss and take-profit levels, control your position, and trade rationally. (If you want to learn, I welcome you; if you want to waste time, go find someone else)
