New rewards program with 200 million SXT tokens from Space and Time to Boost Participation
Chainlink has launched Chainlink Rewards, a community rewards program to encourage participation in its network, starting with a distribution of 200 million SXT tokens (4% of the total supply) from Space and Time (SXT), a decentralized data platform that uses zero-knowledge proofs to connect databases with smart contracts.
The program will reward node operators and members of the Chainlink community, including holders of #LINK historical and active tokens, with the first batch of 100 million SXT available starting May 8, and the rest in a future campaign.
Claims will be open for 90 days. The initiative aims to incentivize LINK staking and attract new users to the ecosystem, increasing demand and interaction with the network.
Chainlink plans to expand the program with more partners from its Build program, which could further strengthen its position as a leader in decentralized oracles, while Space and Time gains exposure in the crypto ecosystem.
