Solana discovered a critical bug that allowed an attacker to create fake evidence to print infinite tokens or withdraw tokens from other people's wallets.
The development team (Anza, Firedancer, Jito) released a private patch to validators, and after only two days, most of the network nodes had updated. There was no sign of exploitation, and all assets remained safe.
The community was concerned that Solana's secret communication with validators raised concerns about the network being too centralized, but the project said this was an emergency procedure that every major blockchain had to do. $SOL #MarketPullback #BinanceAlphaAlert #altcoins
