The ambitious U.S. legislative proposal on stablecoins, known as the STABLE Act and complemented by the GENIUS Act, has made notable progress in the Senate of the United States Congress.

The GENIUS Act, a legislative proposal introduced by Senator Bill Hagerty, also passed a crucial stage by being approved during the second week of March.

Currently, the bill is awaiting a vote in its respective legislative chamber, the House of Representatives and the Senate, to be subsequently debated in plenary.
