BlockBeats news, on May 5, the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Digital recently suspended the local operating license of World (formerly Worldcoin), co-founded by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, due to public reports of suspicious activities related to Worldcoin and World ID.
The official pointed out that the local operator of World, PT. Terang Bulan Abadi, is not registered as an electronic system operator and is operating under the name of another legal entity, violating local regulations. (The Block)
