On April 30, 2025, Binance completed the conversion of certain token balances into USDC. This measure is part of a broader strategy to strengthen stability and liquidity within the platform's ecosystem.

🇵🇱 Restrictions for users from Poland starting May 16
In accordance with local regulations, Binance will implement the following restrictions for users from Poland:
• They will no longer be able to open margin Futures positions in USDT/USDC.
• They will not be able to subscribe to Dual Investment offers involving stablecoins.
• They will not be able to take out loans in stablecoins or use them as collateral.
• They will not be able to trade on Margin using USDT/USDC. 
Cryptocurrency margin contracts (e.g., BTC-margined futures) will remain available.

USDC continues to be firmly pegged to the value of $1.00, reinforcing its reputation as a reliable “digital dollar.” With a market capitalization of approximately $61.5 billion and over 500 million wallets used globally, USDC is widely utilized, including by companies like Visa for daily settlements and by NGOs for rapid delivery of aid in crisis areas.

🤝 Major acquisition and investment offers
• Ripple made a $10 billion offer to acquire USDC from Circle, doubling the previous $5 billion offer that had been rejected. If accepted, this acquisition could transform Ripple into a dominant player in the stablecoin sector. 
• The MGX Fund, backed by the government of the United Arab Emirates, intends to utilize the USD1 stablecoin created by World Liberty.
