Pakistani Family Returns Home After ‘Leave India’ Notice Despite Life-Saving Medical Trip
A Pakistani family that had traveled to New Delhi seeking life-saving treatment for two young boys has returned to Hyderabad in Sindh, Pakistan, after receiving a ‘Leave India’ order in the wake of the recent Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu & Kashmir, which claimed 26 lives.
The National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) in Pakistan has stepped in to take full responsibility for the boys’ treatment. Both siblings, who suffer from congenital heart conditions, will now receive free heart surgeries at the institute.
A special medical board at NICVD, comprising pediatric cardiologists and imaging specialists, conducted thorough evaluations and declared both children fit for surgery. Their father expressed heartfelt thanks to the hospital, acknowledging its support and compassion after the family’s disheartening experience abroad.
