Warren Buffett will leave the position of CEO of Berkshire Hathaway by the end of this year. He named Greg Abel as his successor.
Apparently, after the death of his friend and vice-chairman Charles Munger, it became more difficult for him to manage the company and make decisions.
At the traditional annual meeting of Berkshire Hathaway shareholders, he criticized Trump's tariff policy, but regarding the turmoil in the stock market, he reminded that his company has lost about 50% of its value three times over a short period of time, which periodically happens to all companies and businesses.
