🚨🚫🇵🇱 Alert in Europe! Binance Poland will remove USDC and USDT from May 16th
🚨 Alarms are ringing in the European crypto world! 🚨💥 Binance has announced that starting May 16, 2025, users in Poland will no longer be able to use USDC or USDT in key services on the platform. Yes, stablecoins are on the line! 🪙⚖️
The measure was officially confirmed by Binance and, although it currently only affects Poland, all signs point to it being just the first domino in the European Economic Area 🌍🧩. The reason behind this decision is believed to be related to the implementation of new financial regulations in the region that limit the use of stablecoins not authorized by local regulators.
What services are affected?
Although Binance has not provided a detailed list, it is estimated that this will impact:
➡️ Trading with USDC/USDT pairs ❌📉
➡️ Features in Launchpad and Launchpool 🚫🌱
➡️ Automatic conversion of balances and swaps in the app 🔁📲
➡️ Possible restrictions on deposits and withdrawals of these currencies 📥📤
👉🏻 What is behind all this?
Europe is getting serious about crypto regulation, especially with the implementation of the MiCA framework (Markets in Crypto-Assets), which imposes stricter requirements on the issuance and use of stablecoins within the bloc. 🇪🇺⚖️
And while some users celebrate the regulatory advance, others see it as an obstacle that limits financial freedom and interoperability of the decentralized ecosystem 🧑⚖️🗽.

Do you think this measure will extend to other European countries? Are we at the beginning of the end for stablecoins in the EU? 🤔🧩
