#EUPrivacyCoinBan In a controversial organizational approach, the European Union has announced a total ban on privacy-focused cryptocurrencies, such as Monero (XMR), Zcash (ZEC), and Dash (DASH), starting from July 1, 2027, under the Anti-Money Laundering Regulation (AMLR). Digital asset service providers will be prohibited from handling these currencies, and anonymous cryptocurrency wallets will also be banned. Any conversion of cryptocurrencies exceeding 1000 euros will require full identity verification of the user.
