#BinanceHODLerSTO

Binance has recently introduced StakeStone (STO), a new token associated with an omnichain liquidity protocol designed to enhance capital efficiency across decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystems.

🪙 What Is StakeStone (STO)?

StakeStone is a decentralized protocol aiming to streamline staking processes and improve liquidity movement across various blockchain networks. It allows users to stake assets like ETH, STONE, and SBTC, facilitating efficient yield distribution and cross-chain operations.

🎁 HODLer Airdrop for BNB Holders

As part of its 17th HODLer Airdrops initiative, Binance rewarded eligible BNB holders with STO tokens. Users who subscribed their BNB to Simple Earn (Flexible and/or Locked) and/or On-Chain Yields products between April 27 and April 29, 2025, received a portion of the 15 million STO tokens allocated for this airdrop.

📈 STO Token Listing and Market Performance

StakeStone (STO) was officially listed on Binance’s spot trading platform on May 2, 2025, with trading pairs including STO/USDT, STO/USDC, STO/BNB, STO/FDUSD, and STO/TRY. Following the listing, STO’s price surged over 30%, reflecting strong market interest.

🔄 Availability on Binance Margin

Binance has also added STO as a borrowable asset on its Cross and Isolated Margin platforms, offering trading pairs such as STO/USDT and STO/USDC. This expansion provides users with more trading options and strategies involving the STO token.

🧠 Understanding Security Token Offerings (STOs)

A Security Token Offering (STO) is a fundraising method where security tokens—digital representations of real-world financial assets—are issued to investors. These tokens can represent equity, real estate, or revenue-sharing contracts, offering investors ownership rights and potential dividends.
