🧓 Mr. Warren Buffett officially announces retirement at age 94
In the shareholders' meeting, investment legend Warren Buffett confirmed he will step down as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway at the end of this year. The appointed successor is Greg Abel (62 years old) – Vice Chairman responsible for non-insurance segments and has been with the corporation for over 20 years.
🔁 Although stepping back from the executive position, Mr. Buffett remains the largest shareholder and is willing to support if needed. If Mr. Buffett passes away, Howard Buffett – his son – will take on his father's roles at the corporation.
