On May 2, TRON DAO’s official X (formerly Twitter) account was hacked in a social engineering attack, leading to the spread of malicious links and messages.
Key Details:
Hackers posted fake smart contract links and sent harmful DMs while impersonating the DAO.
Even after the team regained control, the attacker attempted to monetize posts via the compromised account.
Stolen funds were traced to OKX, and TRON has requested the exchange to freeze assets and assist in the probe.

The DAO does not share contract addresses or message users directly.
Anyone who received a message on May 2 should delete it immediately.
