May 3, 2025 - In an unexpected turn of events, the world's largest crypto exchange Binance announced the launch of the world's first crypto state called Binancia. The new digital state will be located on an artificial island in international waters and will become a free trade zone, where the only means of payment will be cryptocurrency.

All verified Binance users will be able to become Binancia citizens, and taxes within the country will be reduced to zero.
