#AppleCryptoUpdate Apple changes the rules for crypto apps: what does it mean for the industry?

Recent changes in Apple's policy regarding cryptocurrency-related apps have caused significant resonance in the crypto community. After a long struggle and court rulings, the company from Cupertino seems to have softened its approach, allowing developers of crypto apps to offer users more options.

One of the key changes is that developers can now directly inform users about the possibility of making payments outside of Apple's ecosystem without restrictions or significant fees. This became possible due to a ruling by a U.S. district court in the antitrust case against Epic Games, which ruled that Apple violated a court order.

The court ruled that Apple has no right to charge a commission or any fee for purchases that users make outside of the app. Moreover, the company cannot control the way links leading to external payment systems are placed, nor does it have the right to require developers to report such transactions.

Representatives of the crypto industry have already called these changes "extremely positive"
