Yesterday, I took some time to watch the videos organized by Brother Sol. You can also check them out when you have time. They explain the close relationship between currency, economy, supply and demand, and investment in a clear and profound way.
During the financial crisis in 2008, I didn't feel much impact while still in school, but in recent years, the collapse and sluggishness of the domestic real estate market have greatly affected me. Especially, it has dealt a heavy blow to my deeply ingrained belief that fixed assets are the safest form of investment. The money I have has lost its value, and my assets have depreciated. People used to think having a house and a car meant being well-off, but in reality, it was filled with debt and bubbles, and the original real estate assets have even turned into liabilities.
In these five years, I could never have imagined seeing gold at a thousand dollars per gram or Bitcoin at a hundred thousand dollars. In real life, we often feel confused when facing investment problems, face losses due to improper trading, feel fear when assets plummet, and experience greed when assets soar.
Only when your understanding of the underlying logic is correct can you respond to changes with stability, and your investment ability can continuously update and iterate in a changing market!
