i didn’t buy

just a coin

i bought

a question

a rebellion

a whisper

that said

there is more than this

i bought it

on a tuesday

it’s a bubble

and the market dipped

and my hands shook

but not from fear—

from the weight

of possibility

i didn’t buy to get rich

i bought to get

honest

to hold something

not printed into existence

but earned

mined

solved

block by block

by people

i will never meet

but somehow

trust more

than those

in ties

they laughed

said it’s not real

but what is more real

than belief

than a value

we choose

together

i didn’t just buy bitcoin

i bought

a lifeline

from the world

that told me

i had to stay
