🏦 Trump-Linked Stablecoin to Invest $2 Billion into Binance
At the TOKEN2049 conference in Dubai, World Liberty Financial (WLF) — co-founded by Eric Trump and Zach Witkoff — announced a massive investment deal: $2 billion USD will be injected into Binance using their own stablecoin, USD1, backed by the Abu Dhabi-based MGX Fund.
This marks the largest institutional investment ever made into Binance.
However, the deal is stirring controversy in the U.S.:
Senator Elizabeth Warren accused the move of being politically corrupt.
The U.S. Congress is currently debating new regulations around stablecoins.
