This functionality will be made possible through a single integration via an API, meaning that card issuers will be able to connect to the stablecoin network quickly and easily, without the need to develop complex infrastructures.
According to the official statement, thanks to this integration, holders of the new cards will be able to use their balance in these coins to make everyday purchases at any merchant that accepts Visa. It is known that the program will arrive simultaneously in Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, and Chile, and that Visa plans to expand this initiative to Europe, Asia, and Africa in the coming months.
