⛔️🇪🇺 The EU plans to ban anonymous tokens by 2027 – document

Starting in 2027, crypto service providers (CASP) will not be able to service anonymous wallets and work with anonymous tokens (such as #XMR and #ZEC).

The ban will affect exchanges, wallets, and other services subject to MiCA regulation. The rules for combating money laundering (AML) will be tightened.

For cryptocurrency transactions over €1,000, KYC will be required.
