According to new rules, from 2027, crypto services in the EU will not be able to work with anonymous tokens like Monero (XMR) and Zcash (ZEC). The ban will affect exchanges, wallets, and other providers falling under the MiCA regulation.
Strict AML measures are also being introduced: for transactions over €1000, mandatory KYC will be required.
