After the April jobs report exceeded expectations, President Trump continues to urge the Fed to lower interest rates, but this time with a more moderate tone.

"Gas prices have just dropped to $1.98/gallon — the lowest in many years, food prices (including eggs!) are down, energy costs are down, mortgage rates are down, strong job data, and many other good news, as billions of dollars are pouring in from tariffs. Just as I said, and we are only in the TRANSITION PHASE, just getting started!!! Consumers have waited years to see prices go down. NO INFLATION, THE FED SHOULD LOWER INTEREST RATES!!!" — DJT
