Circle Rejects $XRP Ripple’s $5B Acquisition Bid Over Valuation Concerns
Ripple’s recent attempt to acquire stablecoin giant Circle has reportedly been rebuffed, with sources pointing to disagreements over valuation and strategic fit. As per a Bloomberg report dated April 30, Ripple made an acquisition offer in the range of $4 billion to $5 billion a proposal Circle turned down, citing that it significantly undervalued the company’s current market standing and long-term potential.
Insiders familiar with the matter indicate that Ripple has not announced any intentions to revisit the deal, and no follow-up bid appears to be in motion at this time.
