As of May 2, 2025, Bitcoin ( $BTC ) is trading at approximately $96,740, reflecting a 1.73% increase over the past 24 hours. The cryptocurrency reached an intraday high of $97,360 and a low of $94,879.
This upward momentum is fueled by substantial institutional investments. Notably, BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) recorded a significant inflow of $970 million on April 28, marking its second-largest single-day inflow. Overall, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have amassed over $3.75 billion in net inflows over eight consecutive days, indicating strong investor confidence.
Analysts remain optimistic, with projections suggesting Bitcoin could reach $120,000 in the second quarter, driven by its appeal as a hedge against economic uncertainties and a safe-haven asset.
