The international exchange based in the U.S., Coinbase, announced today that it will suspend trading of the MOVE token from the Movement Network project starting next May 15, which resulted in a notable decline in the price of the digital currency.
The measure was disclosed on the official Coinbase Assets account on X, where it was also indicated that the cryptocurrency is already in “limit only mode,” allowing only the placement or cancellation of orders under this trading mode.
The company did not publicly explain the specific reasons for the suspension but reaffirmed its policy of continuous monitoring of the assets listed on its platform. “We regularly monitor the assets on our exchange to ensure they meet our listing standards,” they stated in the post.
