My true experience: Once, I went out with friends, and by two in the morning, we all went home. It was particularly cold outside, so I wanted to get home quickly. I took a small path, one of those unique urban village roads typical of county towns. I had walked this road before and remembered there were streetlights, but this time the middle section of the road was particularly dark, and the lights were off. So I quickened my pace, but it felt like the farther I walked, the longer it became. Finally, I reached a fork in the road; one path was the one I had taken before, and I could see light from a distance. The other path was exceptionally bright at its end, like a white light from heaven. I didn't know what was going on, but inexplicably, I walked toward that bright direction, getting closer and closer. It turned out to be a Mixue Ice City, and I was just thirsty enough to buy a cup of peach nectar before heading home. It was quite refreshing.
