Trump’s New Travel Ban Targets 43 Countries
Former President Donald Trump is planning new travel rules that will affect 43 countries, divided into three risk levels based on security concerns.
Red List (Complete Ban)
These countries will face a total ban, meaning no one from these nations can enter the U.S.:
Afghanistan
Bhutan
Cuba
Iran
Libya
North Korea
Somalia
Sudan
Syria
Venezuela
Yemen
Orange List (Limited Travel)
People from these countries will face strict visa rules, especially for business trips. This list includes:
Pakistan
Russia
Myanmar
(Other countries not named yet)
Yellow List (Warning List)
These 22 countries have 60 days to improve their security systems. If they don’t, tougher travel rules may follow.
Trump says the goal is to protect Americans from terrorism, crime, and abuse of the immigration system.
