A new government relations firm, NexusOne Consulting, has opened in Washington, D.C., aiming to help crypto and AI companies shape federal policy. The firm is led by prominent figures including white-collar defense attorney Jeff Ifrah, former government lawyer Jim Trusty, and Ross Branson, a former official in the Commerce Department during Donald Trump’s first term.

“There’s a once-in-a-generation opportunity to shape the future of tech policy,” said Ifrah. “We want innovators to lead, not just react.”

Backed by Trump-aligned figures and located across from the White House, NexusOne positions itself as a key link between tech industries and government. It will focus on lobbying for firms working in cryptocurrency, AI, and emerging social platforms. Trump has previously expressed a vision to establish the U.S. as the “crypto capital of the world” and has proposed a strategic bitcoin reserve.
